i am using partition magic 7 in trying to uninstall the mandrake linux from its partition from a hd with win xp on the other partition. the problem is that when the partition magic tries to merge the two partition the whole thing is ruined.. it freezes and partition magic gives an error pronlem. after i reboot the system can not load either win xp or mandrake.. since the lilo is probably romoved and the incomplete merge also ruins the hd partition. that is my guess because it already happened to me once. i wanna remove the linux once again since i re installed a newer version but still doesnt have what i want. how can i do it without having to erase all data from hd with FDISK?
